Learn to Love Your Life Stories

Here's where you'll tell your stories DIFFERENTLY and completely change how you feel about them.

During this last year, you probably started to see things differently as we all faced reality from a wildly different perspective.

And maybe some old stories about your life felt heavier than ever —  desperately in need of thematic makeovers.

  • with hindsight, you could reframe those stories?

  • you could shift your historical relationship with your story?

  • those very stories keeping you stuck could become empowering stories based on hard-won lessons?

  • from your life curriculum, there’s a goldmine of power just waiting to be leveraged?

Through transformative writing, people who feel disempowered by life stories reconnect the dots and find moments in time that liberate them from old narratives.

This is soul work, an expansion of awareness of your life’s agenda. It's a way to make sense of your unique life formula for creating a fulfilling life and understanding who you came here to be.

But try as you may, it’s not easy to make something different out of facts. And most people are struggling more than they have to in this area.

We all have stories we wish we didn't, and most people see these stories as static truths. This belief may be holding them back from big goals and dreams and drowning them in shame, guilt and self-deprecation.

The sad thing is, if they don’t figure out how to change these narratives, that will probably impact how hard they strive towards their dreams, and as time marches on, every day they lose out on gifts those very stories have to offer.

So think about YOUR life stories, the ones you wish you didn't have.

  • Do you feel like a broken record of a song you never want to hear again?
  • Do you feel worse rather than better after telling your story?
  • Are you uplifting others with your stories, inspiring them to reach for more?
  • Do you feel you’re serving your best interest, the way you'd like to, when you tell your stories?
  • Are you struggling to find a more empowering angle from which to evaluate your life's curriculum?
  • Have you reached a plateau in your progress toward self-realization and struggle to breakthrough to the next level of joy, power, and self-love?
  • Have you gotten tired of being at the same level of personal understanding for too long? Do you miss the pulse and vibrancy of a fully engaged life that leverages all your strengths and wisdom?

I can help you...

Desperate to have a different version of a story I was tired of telling, I wrote and rewrote it and it stayed the same. Then I discovered a moment in that story that changed everything.

I’ve always wanted my stories to make an impact, to inspire people to aspire and commit to higher goals. And I often felt disempowered and didn't much enjoy sharing them. Truth be told, I felt like a bucket full of problems.

I've had a lot of challenges with endings I don't like. And been frustrated, feeling unable to fully benefit from the growth inherent in those struggles. Because while in those struggles, especially the worst ones, I KNEW I was learning something of value. And many of these lessons may still remain unwrapped gifts - assets available to leverage.

So I started studying the art of storytelling. I knew the key was using retrospect and choice to reassess life events. I had to find assets I knew were there. I would not stop until I opened up more spaciousness inside of me, relating to my stories. I knew there was a way to shift from living in states from past experiences no longer relevant. I had zero doubt that my stories could resource me with power and that I could carry that energy out into life.

But I kept going around in circles, still caught in the vortex of a story’s negativity, even while seeing light within that darkness. I identified positivity resulting from my struggles while staying mired in the facts of the moments I was tired of revisiting. Certain of value in my experiences, I stayed blocked from accessing that asset. And since adolescence, I’d vowed to make use of whatever expensive life lessons I got caught up in. So I persisted until I achieved that breakthrough, of changing everything by picking out more precious moments than I'd been focusing on.

Our strength comes from struggle, in the form of kindling for our purpose, where lies our joy. For struggle produces the ability to compare and contrast that which we desire and despise, and informs motivation. Without contrast, we cannot fully appreciate the value of our desires, like a fish cannot appreciate water and we do not adequately value air. Struggle provides us the opportuity to choose which of our moments are precious.

The strategies we use in The Precious Moments will completely change your clarity and confidence in your story, resourcing you with untapped power.

I’m about to launch a brand new paid, private community to support people like you who desire to love their life story, at a discounted rate in exchange for feedback. For the first month you pay only $10.00.

This is a supportive and caring community where you show up and write your personal stories, then rewrite them from different angles while in the company of others. It’s all about gaining clarity and confidence to embrace your life’s story.

To be clear, this is not a course or a workshop with prescribed content. It’s a digital space held on Google Meet. We meet every Sunday at 10 am Central Time for 90 minutes and simply write, with a little time for sharing among peers you can trust.

I want to give you the exact strategies and questions I use to tell empowering stories and influence the people around me, and to transform my life experience.

And, frankly, if you’re not following these principles I’ll teach you, then feeling at peace with your life story might remain a challenge. I’m telling you all this because I’d like to help you right away.

How much could you shift your perspective in the coming months with this block of time and support of the right people?

If it’s your time for a dramatic change and rapid advancement in perspective on your life, then I’d like you to join The Precious Moments community to break through your barriers and help you access the highest value from your life's curriculum.

Our First Testimonial, by Jacqui

Today, I wrote about a single defining moment.  Since that time in my life, I have been telling a filtered version of this story to others and in conversation with myself.  This was the first time I shared raw thoughts on paper.  I didn't try to edit, include side stories, justify my actions, make it pretty for public consumption, hide from my feelings, or tell the story with hindsight.  In doing so, the words flowed freely.

To my surprise, I connected some dots.  I'd been struggling with something and realized it all started right after that single defining moment.  It was important to come full circle, and I think I really needed this missing piece.

The session was unexpectedly emotional.  There was power in writing together as a group, and even though we didn't physically share a space, I could feel the energy.  At the end, Julie asked if we wanted to share a small part of our story.  I chose to read my opening paragraph to the group.  Speaking the words aloud, in the presence of others, was healing, and in a way, liberating.  I didn't need to preface the story with another story or give context, and there was no judgement or feedback.  It was a safe space for me to respect and honor this single defining moment in my life.
